Blog maintenance

Uh-oh. It looks like it's been two months since I wrote in this thing.

And it's most assuredly not due to a lack of stupidity and weirdness in the world. I just needed a vacation from it -- six months of writing was involved in the first edition (the original blog).

So... against my better judgment, it's time to start writing again.

I'll be picking out stories from the world at large and commenting on them in my usual moronic way. I'll try to stay away from Reuters stories, as the links become invalid rather quickly.

Yippie! I'm off to forage the Internet for signs of the decline of mankind.
